Long Marston - Saturday 11th September - Exhibition 'The Wesleyan Chapel'
All Saints' Church, Long Marston will be open to visitors from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The theme of the the exhibition will be 'The Wesleyan Chapel'. Also on view will be the Parish Archive and Records.

Bramham - Saturday 11th September - The Bramham Beer FestivAle
The 3rd Annual Bramham Beer Festival is being held at the Bramham Village Hall from Midday until Late. 20 Yorkshire Ales from 10 Breweries, with Live Music throughout the day, with the group 'This Way Up' in the evening. Entrance £5 including a free glass and your first half pint. Proceeds to the Village Hall Restoration Fund

Over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday September 11th & 12th, there is an opportunity to learn more about your local church - St. Mary's, Lead.
Enjoy this 14th Century church on the
edge of Towton Battlefield with a display of information about the church and its history.
St Mary's church is opposite the Crooked Billet pub, Lead, Saxton, nr Tadcaster. (Sat Nav - LS24 9QN)
The exhibition is open daily from 10.00am and entrance is free but a donation to the church will be most welcome.

Boston Spa - Sunday 12th September - 'An Enchanted Evening'
An Enchanted Evening: A Medley of Popular Music by students, amateurs and children (guest appearances by members of Opera North), in the garden of 122 High Street on Sunday 12th September at 5.30pm, bring your own
picnic for the interval at 6.30pm. There is a Bar and a Raffle, you can also buy Karen Crafts and Jewellery. This is a fundraising event in aid of the Karen Hilltribes Trust. (It will take place in St Mary's if the weather is wet).

Bramham - Panto Volunteers & Rehearsals for our 2010 performances
Its panto time already - Oh no it isn't - Oh Yes it is!...Bramham's very own pantomime Jack & The Beanstalk is on from 8th to 11th December 2010.
The cast is now complete and the characters are all busy learning their lines over the summer ready for rehearsals that will commence in September. We also have many volunteers for the back stage crew too but there is always
room for a few more. Absolutely no skills required just bundles of enthusiasm!! If you are considering volunteering but still not sure please get in touch & find out a little more.
Dates For Your Diary:
Adult Rehearsals: The first rehearsal will be on the 1st of September between 7.30pm to 10pm and Sunday rehearsals commence on the 10th of October 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The Beanies: Auditions for The Beanies (children year 7 & below in September) will be on the 15th of September 4.45pm to 5.45pm.
Junior Rehearsals: All juniors who are successful at auditions will be required to attend weekly rehearsals that commence on the 22nd of September & will also be required to attend some Sunday rehearsals in November.
Lets Get The Panto Started!! The performance dates are Wednesday the 8th to Saturday the 11th of December.
