Tempo FM launched on September 11th 2006

The first 3 years of Wetherby's local Radio Station have been completed and we hope that all our listeners have enjoyed the music and local information provided. The volunteer team has greatly enjoyed the challenge of keeping the station on the air 24 hours a day.

However, we urgently need your support to help us to enter our 5th Year
Although our station is run entirely by volunteers, the running costs for our Ofcom, News and Music licences amount to almost £100 per week. I'm sure that you will agree this is good value to keep your town's identity unique through it's own radio station.
Advertising and Sponsorship
We are delighted to promote all the local and charitable events in the area over the airwaves completely free of charge. However, those of you who run or influence businesses in the area could really help keep Tempo on the air, by supporting us with income from your adverts or sponsorship. This needn't be expensive and would greatly help us with our future planning. Please contact us by letter, email or using the on-line form on the Contact Us page.
