Thanks for the blogs. Fantastic!! We really enjoyed, in effect, being with you on your travels and experiencing the sights and thrills you had. The bungee made our tummies have that falling feeling. The parachute jump was amazing. What a time you had. Hope you settle down to, well, ...... "WORK" ...... if we dare mention that word. Good luck. Love from Mike & Delphine.

Hi guys,
I'm so jealous - but love reading all your stories - I can't believe how long ago it feels that I saw you both in Brisbane. I was just wondering what time you were landing on the 12th - you still staying at mine right, you're more than welcome! I don't know what time i finish yet but i'm sure we can try and work something out. Enjoy the rest of your trip and i'll see you back in London,
love and hugs

Maybe you should give up and "go native". I'm sure you'd make great (if a little pale) Fijians! Fingers crossed for you, though...

I hope you got off alright in the end. Canada is going to be a shock to the system though guys. I don't know what its like in Vancouver but it was -13 in north Michigan last week. Bit of a change from 40!

Also - great photos ... but you already knew that!

Hi Mark and Ann-Marie
Thank you for all the birthday greetings and also the very COOL present. I like it.
The blogs are fantastic. You are so brave Ann-Marie sky diving. Mark has done it before... but still quite brave!
Enjoy yourselves.

Hi you two. What great pictures. You're certainly filling every moment. I think you're both very brave or do I mean foolish to do all the daredevil things. I envy your fearlessness. Lovely to speak to you today. What a shame time goes so quickly. Make the most of the next few weeks. Beard is looking better, but where's my fresh faced baby boy?

Your trip looks to be getting better and better! Odd to see photos of Hollywood with only half of his beard left - I expect - no DEMAND - to see a 'tache before it all goes!!
Ooh- we won't be around when you get back as we're off to India for four weeks. I might want to blog about it. Do you know of anyone that can help me put together a decent website?

awesome pics from the sky dive and bungy jump..I'm so jealous I've wanted to do both of those for ages.
Ann-marie...it wasn't the same without you at the physics night out. I didn't even have our normal PNO drink of a pint of smirnoff ice and reef.

Sorry to anyone who sent any texts in the last week to our Oz number....we won't get them as it doesn't work in NZ..pity..it was a cracking deal!

I don't think I've ever seen a smile as wide as Ann-Marie's when she's finished the skydive!
I too have a ginger beard sprouting on my face Hollywood. Some of us at work are growing ridiculous facial hair to raise money to get running water put into a school in Nigeria. Needless to say Jodie hates the new look. Keep having a great time anyway - Michael Palin's got nothing on you 2.

Pete; your wait is over. Check Facebook..
I'm seriously considering auctioning off parts of my beard to secure more funds. Anyone interested? There are some great ginger bits.

Beware of kerbs, there's a history of dangerous kerbs in the family - ask Julie. We still have the crutches, shall I post them to you? Photos are really good and I hate to admit it but I even like the beard. By the way Australians drink the least beer in February (only 28 days). Glad you are still having such a good time.

Aaa - your trip sounds as though it is getting better and better. Regards Uluru, I remember watching Billy Connolly's "World Tour of Australia" a few years ago and he seemed to be able to appreciate its majesty by simply looking at it. However, which would you regret more - not taking (perhaps your only) chance to climb Uluru or upsetting an entire race of people...?!!?? Gosh, and I struggled to decide whether or not to have toast this morning.
On a happier note, your hat looks ace Hollywood. Can I have one please?
Pete
Wednesday, October 31, 2007
The Uluru question is a knotty one! However, if the experience and inspiration you get up there makes your poetry better eV, I'd say it might be worth a bounce.
Having said that, do your poems really outweigh the wishes of the aborigines??! - I'm not so sure

Hi Mark & Ann-Marie. Enjoying your trip nearly as much as you both are. Can't stop chuckling about your Singapore accommodation. Well, anyone can make a mistake! Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. If it's good, maybe your Dad & I could follow on instead of skiing - its warmer!

Look forward to hearing about the next exciting episode of the adventure. Tell Ev to stop holding is stomache in when he's having top-less pics taken. You can't kid a kidder! Err...I don't want to start anything but, in this age of freedom and equality, why is Hollywood doing all the driving? And, in order to make the long drives more entertaining AND topical, why don't you sing the lovely tunes from the adverts for Sheila's Wheels?

OI!!!!
Firstly: Ian shut it! I'll deal with you in Vancouver.
Secondly: lets get all the 'why have you got so much hair on the cartoon jokes' out of the way now! Its not funny, especially as my lack of hair has left me prone to a sun-burnt head!
